As a believer, I continue to learn and grow through the transformation that takes place once you come to Faith. There is so much Joy through it, too deep in fact to find proper words that come close to describing how it feels. It’s a personal journey one takes with God.
However, along the journey you will be persecuted and critizied by the false perceptions much of the world will have on you.
As He continues to sanctify us (making us new) we will begin to notice the many false perceptions people have of Christians. It’s important to touch on what we can expect to feel as believers in addition to Joy and what we will hear as we walk with God in Faith.
I composed a video of some of the most common remarks you will hear as well as what you can expect to feel, especially if you’re a new believer. Choosing the path of truth unveils the blinders from our eyes and we begin to see the true colors of the deception in the world. Anf there are lies. So many lies. So it is vital we are prepared to stand firm in our Faith as we come face to face with it. No matter how overwhelming some of the false perceptions can be, remember you have the true Living God dwelling within you who will always fight for you.
I hope you take a little time to watch the video I made, for I touch on some vital expectations based on my personal experiences.
Expect to hear that you are brainwashed.
Expect to feel pressure to be perfect.
Expect to hear Christianity is for the weak.
Expect to feel like the black sheep.
Expect to hear you are a biggot and a hyorocrite.
Expect to feel the transformation. (This one hits home for me).
